This January is different than any January I've seen in my entire real estate career already! Here's why.
  1. Inventory is lower than ever. 
  2. Interest rates are hovering at 4%.
  3. Buyers are flooding the market. 
Rates are extremely low now, but we expect rate hikes later this year. In fact, the Fed raised interest rates just last month. That's why there are so many buyers out there right now. However, since inventory is low, sellers are getting great prices!


In January, we get about 10,000 to 11,000 new homes on the market. If you've been looking and haven't found anything you like yet, this is great news. Chances are the home you've been looking for is now on the market. Now is the time to take action. If you're renting, you should get out there and lock in a low interest rate now before they go up.
